How I made $1200 from my sick bed

I told you all about my recent illness and was very surprised the other day to learn that whilst I was sick in a hospital bed I had earnt over $1200 in affiliate commisions for Rapid Forex.

Thanks to all my regular readers that took the time to find out why I hadn't posted any posts on my (this) blog for the past 6 weeks :)

Well for those that don't know I have been quite poorly and spent 5 weeks in hospital with ulcerative colitis. You can read up on the illness here.

Have you ever been bombarded with very similar messages in yor email box from many different people?

Most of it is spam, but just recently I got quite a few of the same messages from many of my online contacts. The last count was 19 in the last 7 days alone.

The reason being was this!!

There is a mad rush and a fever to have everyone join
a new payment processor called:

GreenZap.com

They are offering $25 into your account if you join.

Here are some facts:

1. With the amount of viral advertising and promotion
they are doing I am sure they will get a min of
500,000 to join, maybe 1,000,000.

Do you really think a new company is willing to start
in debt by $12M-$25M dollars?

Even if they charge a unreasonable 10% on transactions
it would take $125M-$250M dollars in sales volume to
just breakeven.

2. Now what about the domain name.

It is registered anonymously and private. No one
knows who they are or where they are located. The info

3. License. To operate a payment processor in the USA
you need proper businesses licenses to exchange
currencies. They have not shown this to be the case.
Have not others dropped out ... EvoCash, etc.?

So, how can this hurt you?
You say ... they are only giving me $25?

Here's how it can hurt!!!

a. they will have all of your personal info.

b. eventually they will get some of YOUR real money
because $25 will not be enough for much. They are
asking for a $100 Gold upgrade. Do you have to spend
more to be able to withdraw? Why do they need more
money? Are they undercapitalized? Do they want you to
pay for your own $25 gift?

c. not being able to sustain the initial $10M+ gift
they will be forced to shutdown.

d. possibily without the proper license they will be
forced to shutdown.

Unless they can prove or show that they are
capitalized with $10M or more I will say that in 6
months they will not be around. Don't expect your
account balance to be refunded before they go under.

My recommendation.

1. Don't join them. If you have, then cancel.

2. Don't spend to them. Don't upgrade to Gold.

I like PayPal because they refund your money in any dispute and They are properly licensed. StormPay is great. IntGold is great. E-Gold
is great. All have proper licenses and all are
upfront. We have plenty of payment processors to
handle our money and handle it properly. We may think
their fees are unreasonable but it does costs to
exchange currency.

As for me. I am not about to risk my private
information or any funds to an organization that is
hiding and presents a very unreasonable offer.

One more thing. I think it is a real shame to see some
of the "big boys" pushing this without any regard to
any of this type of information. They are being
greedy to get your $5 referral fee. Don't support any
of their programs again. Check you email and you will
know who they are.

This is my opinion.
Research and Research some more before Joining Anything on the Internet!

How easy is it to give away money?

I haven't posted for over a week. The Easter holidays are now over and after spending some quality time with my family and loved ones its back to work.

When I first set up this blog the main purpose of it was to get the message out about a new business opportunity called IGAM

My very first post stated:
Instead of "gambling" with my online business, I've discovered that I can invest in my business by simply paying for other people to join my group. Once they see how this works for me, they're delighted to pay for other people to join THEIR group as well.

But How easy is it to get the message across? I recently discovered that a British bank was shocked to find it could not even give away money.

The branch of Barclays Bank, in Croydon, London, put up a sign offering a £5 note to anyone who stepped inside to collect it.

But bank officials told the BBC that no-one took up the offer.

The experiment, carried out for two hours one day in January, was to help Barclays understand "what engages customers as they walk past branches".

A spokeswoman for the bank said: "The basic conclusion that we came to was that people would much rather look at shops that are selling dresses than financial services.

"Obviously we are always looking for better ways to engage with our customers."

She stressed the experiment was a one-off.

So I must stress myself. The experiment with IGAM is not a one-off, it is the real deal. My group grows and grows and I continue to pay for members to join this exciting opportunity with No risk on their part. When I started this blog just a few short months ago, I didn't realise it at the time, but blogging really is the next Internet craze. And to top it all off some people are actually making a full time income just from posting information on their blogs...WOW! Don't give up the day job just yet, but the info I am going to share with you really raised my eyebrows.

I've been scouring round quite a few forums and come across a number really intersting web blogs recently. If you are as serious as I am about making a living from working on the Internet, I suggest you take a look at the two sites I am about to mention below:

New Domain Name Growth Report

According to a new report from Verisign, 4.6 million new domain names were registered in the second quarter of 2004, representing a 2.5 percent growth over the first quarter, 2004. In all, worldwide domain name registrations reached a peak of 64.5 million domain names, a 7 percent increase over end of year 2003.
The report reveals that growth statistics for domain name registrations have reached levels previously seen during the height of domain registrations in the late 1990s.

Country code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) now account for 39 percent of all domain registrations. A ccTLD is a top-level domain extension that is assigned to a certain country. This includes the dot ws extension, which is the country code for Western Samoa [read more about this].

Key factors for the growth in domain registrations and renewals include the increasing utilization of the Internet among consumers and small business owners who are seeking to connect with the growing number of global Internet users, and the increasing availability of domain names in markets previously underserved by domain name resellers.

The VeriSign Domain Report marks the third issue in VeriSign's report series.

The series provides Internet users across the world with key statistical and analytical research on the domain name industry. Each quarter, the domain report showcases key data related to important Internet trends and highlights new aspects of Internet usage around domain names.

Findings in this quarter's report include both an increasingly strong rate of new registrations, a growing base for ccTLDs, and strong renewal rates.

Following are some highlights:

-- Overall Growth: Total domain name registrations reached a peak at 64.5 million domain names, representing a 7 percent increase over end of year 2003. New domain name registrations in the second quarter, 2004 reached 4.6 million, a 2.5 percent increase over the first quarter, 2004. "The numbers of overall domain registrations coupled with the number of lookups processed each day by VeriSign's global Registry, indicate that Internet users are setting up more Web sites and using those Web sites to perform commerce and communications on the Internet in greater frequency than ever before."

The overall trends in growth, utilization, and globalization found in the Domain Report this quarter are similar to Internet usage increases that VeriSign has observed over the last two quarters in operating other intelligent infrastructure services for the Internet and telecommunications networks, including payment networks supporting eCommerce and SS7 networks on behalf of telecommunications carriers.
